Turn your idea into a video. Here’s how.

Your first video

  1. 1. Choose your footage

    Tap “New video”. Record something or choose videos and photos from your library. A sentence about your topic helps Fipsta draft your text.

  2. 2. Create your video

    Tap “Create video automatically”. Watch the result. Open “Fine-tune” to change the music, subtitles or format.

  3. 3. Save or share

    Tap “Review & export”, check your details, then tap “Export all three versions”. Save your video to Photos or tap “Share”.

What would you like to do?

Record and try again
  1. Choose a length under “More” → “Length”, such as 30 seconds.
  2. Start recording. The red ring shows how much time is left. Recording stops automatically.
  3. Want another take? Record again. When you like it, keep the clip for your project.
Remove original audio and add music
  1. On a clip, “Remove audio” leaves its voice, sounds and music out of the finished video. Your original file stays intact.
  2. “Replace audio” removes that clip’s original sound and automatically adds new instrumental music.
  3. Under “Fine-tune” → “Sound & music”, you can mute all original audio, choose music and adjust its volume.
  4. To keep your voice, leave the original audio on and use “Lower music under speech”.
Choose music and use it offline
  1. When creating your video, Fipsta automatically chooses suitable music from our library. You do not need a Suno account.
  2. Tap “Choose music” below your video preview. Swipe the original covers left or right. Tap “Preview” to listen and “Use” to add it. Filter by “Warm”, “Calm” or “Energy”.
  3. A song downloads the first time you preview or use it. “Saved” means it is available offline afterwards. New songs require internet. If no music is saved, Fipsta creates a simple instrumental on your device.
  4. Fipsta fits the music to your video. Under “Fine-tune” → “Sound & music”, change its volume or remove it. Your voice stays audible unless you mute the original sound.
  5. Fipsta music is provided for your personal and commercial videos, including social platforms. Do not resell individual tracks, redistribute a standalone music library or register the music exclusively with Content ID services. Platform rules and third-party rights still apply. Find the source and licence under “Music source & usage rights”.
  6. When only the sound is AI-generated, a small “AI-generated sound” label appears at the top-left edge without a banner. For AI-generated images, videos or voices, confirm this under “Before sharing”; the label then reads “AI-generated content”. Also check the destination app’s disclosure settings. Withdrawn songs cannot be used for new exports. Offline, Fipsta only knows the last downloaded catalogue status.
Turn subtitles on and edit them
  1. Fipsta creates subtitles from speech when you create your video automatically.
  2. Under “Fine-tune” → “Language & subtitles”, choose the language spoken in the video. Create the edit again if you change this language.
  3. Turn “Show subtitles” on or off. Tap a subtitle to correct its text.
  4. Read the subtitles before sharing. They appear in the finished video even when the sound is off.
Share with WhatsApp
  1. Export your video and tap “Share” underneath it.
  2. Choose WhatsApp in the share sheet if it is installed. Select recipients and confirm sending there.
  3. Use the copy icon beside the video to copy the caption separately and paste it into WhatsApp.
  4. For a WhatsApp status: save the video using “Photos”. Open WhatsApp and select the video when creating your status.
TikTok, Instagram and YouTube
  1. Fipsta exports three versions with subtitle positions suited to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
  2. Tap “Share” under your chosen version. If the destination app is missing, save the video to Photos and open it in that app.
  3. Copy the caption separately if needed. Choose when to publish and who can see the video in the destination app.
Create your own music with Suno
  1. Open “Fine-tune” → “Create music with Suno”. Fipsta prepares a prompt describing the music you want.
  2. Adjust the prompt, copy it and open Suno. Paste it there and create your music.
  3. Use Suno’s official download for your chosen song. Then import it with “Import downloaded Suno music”.
  4. Add the source and usage-rights record, then confirm the rights for your publication. Being able to listen to a song publicly does not make it yours to use. Check Suno for the terms covering your song and subscription.
Find, archive or delete projects
  1. Expand “Your projects” on the home screen. Tap a project to continue editing.
  2. Swipe left on a project to archive it or move it to Trash.
  3. You can restore projects from the archive or Trash. Only permanent deletion in Trash removes the project for good.
If something doesn’t work
  1. Slow import? Photos and videos stored in iCloud need to download first. Keep Fipsta open.
  2. No AI text? Check Apple Intelligence and language models in device settings. You can enter text yourself and keep editing.
  3. Cannot record or save? Check camera, microphone and Photos permissions in iOS Settings.
  4. This guide works without an internet connection. Your projects are edited on your device.
